Challenges:

High organics loading, small footprint, effluent discharge levy

Solution:  

Conducted a feasibility study and wastewater treatment technology selection. 

Result:

Recommended MBR technology, consistently meeting effluent discharge requirement with no levy, reuse effluent for irrigation and reduce potable water usage

Challenges: 

The existing wastewater treatment plant is not meeting effluent discharge limit

Solution:

Reviewed all equipment functionality and made recommendation 

Reviewed process logics, operation protocols and sequence and made process changes 

Result:

The WWTP is meeting the effluent discharge limit consistently

Challenges: 

The existing water treatment plant sand filter has high backwash frequency as a result of clarifier solids carry over

Solution:

Reviewed coagulant and flocculant dosing and found out the dosing deficiency

Implemented auto-dosing regime

Result: 

Reduced backwash frequency, low NTU potable water
